Cost of Living Index (COLI)

The Cost of Living Index focuses on measuring the relative price of goods and services in the categories of housing, groceries, utilities, transportation, healthcare and miscellaneous goods and services. using a baseline of 100. Unlike inflation metrics, COLI report focus on determining purchasing power and the cost required to maintain a specific standard of living.

Each quarter, the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce gathers pricing information for a cost-of-living report. This survey is compiled by the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER) in order to create the national cost of living index.

Arizona 2025-2027 Projected Employment Report

The Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) is projecting Arizona employment to increase to 3,541,061 jobs in Q2 2027 from 3,495,282 jobs in Q2 2025. This represents an increase of 45,779 jobs, or 0.7% annualized growth.
