Green Business Certification

The Green Business Certification is an initiative of the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce that creates a standard in environmental stewardship by which northern Arizona businesses and non-profits can strive toward. The Chamber believes that our business community can lead the way in sustainability and that by offering a certification process, accredited entities gain recognition for their efforts and have the opportunity to show the community their concern for the well-being of northern Arizona. Guidelines of the certification include measures and strategies to conserve water and energy, as well as reduce waste and carbon output.

To become Green Business Certified:

What do you get from becoming Green Certified?

  • Certified members receive a storefront decal and a website display icon to display at their place of business telling the community that they care about their environment.
  • Certified members will be listed on the Chamber's website
  • Green businesses will be listed in the Chamber's bi-monthly E-newsletter, social media channels and digital magazine publication: @7000ft.
  • The good feeling of knowing that your organization is doing its part to ensure the health of our environment!
