Marissa Griffin is an Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students at Northern Arizona University. And part time you can find her helping accommodating guest at Northern Arizona Healthcare Taylor house. She is a Flagstaff native born and raised and has a passion for seeing the youth of Flagstaff help shape the future of our community as a Graduate of Northern Arizona University herself. She currently serves as the Chair of the Chambers newest initiative Flagstaff Young Professionals. Flagstaff Young Professionals or FYP is working to help those ages 21-39 develop and advance their careers in our community through community engagement, educational building and networking. Prior to working with the University she was with The American Cancer Society for 6 years. With a background in non-profit fundraising and event planning she spends her free time volunteering for The Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation and Make-A-Wish of Arizona. As well as advising for the college women of Chi Omega Sorority and the NAU students who run Camp Kesem( A camp for children whose parents have cancer) . She was an award winner for the 20 under 40 program hosted by the Daily Sun and an Athena Young Professionals nominee.
