Pepsi/Flagstaff Chamber Parade Draws Thousands

Thank you, Flagstaff, for an amazing Fourth of July celebration!

The annual Pepsi/Flagstaff Chamber 4th the July Parade was a major success, with thousands lining the streets of Historic Downtown to celebrate the nation’s birthday.

The parade began with the Flagstaff Fire Department, with a fire truck carrying a banner honoring the 19 members of the Granite Mountain Hotshot crew who lost their lives on June 30 while battling the Yarnell Fire. Many other entries in the parade also honored the fallen, often with just simple signs reading “Yarnell 19” on their entries. A moment of silence marked the beginning of the parade.

But there was celebration as well – of our armed servicemen and women, our safety personnel and our country.

In addition to Presenting Sponsor Pepsi, we also are grateful to Main Stage Sponsors Around the Mountain Pediatric Dentistry, Avenues of the World Travel, Canyon Pet Hospital, Flagstaff Apartment Locator/Bella Investment Group, Flagstaff Snow Removal, Kingsmark Kennels and Mountain View Pediatrics; Block Stage Sponsors Concentra, Nestle Purina PetCare and Suddenlink, and Event Partner Great Circle Radio.

We also thank our wonderful parade volunteers.
