GFCC OPPOSES PROPOSED GRAND CANYON FEE INCREASES

The Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce is opposed to the significant increase in fees being proposed at many National Parks, including the Grand Canyon.

A letter addressed to Michael T. Reynolds, Acting Director of the National Park Service, was sent today (11/28/17) voicing opposition by the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce to the proposed fee increases, stating that the increased fees would deter visitors and would result in “less nights spent in hotels, dinners out and ultimately service industry jobs disappearing.”
