On its fourth year, the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce and Suddenlink strengthen their partnership to host the community-wide drive to provide much-needed classroom supplies to Flagstaff K-12 teachers at the beginning of school year.
The Chamber also invigorates the Business Donor Program in which businesses and organizations have the opportunity to conduct drive in their offices/ businesses, donate specific branded items, or match cash donations. So far 21 businesses/organizations support the Teacher Supply Drive by gathering supplies for teachers in their respective businesses, Business Donor Program. Boxes are available for pick up at the Chamber. Donated items can be dropped off at either Walmart stores or Sam’s Club during the drive on August 5-8.
As in previous years, the tremendous success of the drive is also attributed to the support of over 100 volunteers who help in many ways during the drive and distribution. The supply drive last year gathered over $40,000 in supplies and distributed to Flagstaff K-12teachers. Be a part of this community-wide drive by volunteering.
