The Flagstaff Chamber is pleased to be partnering with Suddenlink for the 2013 Teacher Supply Drive.
The drive will be held from Friday, August 9 to Sunday, August 11 at both Walmart stores in town (2601 E. Huntington Drive and 2750 S. Woodlands Village Blvd.) Donations will be accepted from 10 am to 7 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
Please assist our teachers by donating needed school supplies, including these top requested items:
- Copy paper – both white and colored
- Pencils
- Ink pens
- Sticky notes
- Glue sticks
- Dray erase markers and erasers
- Tape
- Colored pens & pencils
- Staplers and staples
- Facial tissues (like Kleenex)
- Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes
Last year, this event, part of the Flagstaff Values Teachers initiative, raised more than $20,000 worth of supplies for Flagstaff public, private and charter school teachers. Local educators are frequently required to purchase basic classroom supplies out-of-pocket. Teachers are the single largest influence on tomorrow’s leaders and our future workforce, and that’s why the Flagstaff Chamber is thrilled to be a leader in this program.
Thanks to supporting sponsors Walmart, Coca-Cola and Rewind Radio.
