18th Annual Cowboy Campfire. For almost two decades, a trio of notable western entertainers has gathered in the Zane Grey Ballroom to present a remarkable program of cowboy songs, poetry, stories and humor. Don’t be left in the cold when Tony Norris, Big Bill Vernieu and Warren Miller enthrall an audience of all ages with the authentic lore of the old West. Lost loves, noble horses and shopping sprees for the wife’s bra are all fair game. Limited seating make advance ticket purchase a wise choice for this Winterfest favorite.

Dancing at Lughnasa. This memory play, about five unmarried sisters eking out their lives in a small Irish village in 1936, depicts the time during the festival of Lughnasa, which celebrates the harvest will revelry and dancing, even as events are unfolding that will challenge the close home life they have known.

Saturday, February 25th
Alpine Auxiliary Winterfest Pancake Breakfast. The ladies of the Alpine Auxiliary Assistance League will be serving a full pancake, sausage and egg breakfast. The proceed will be used to help meet our 3 major philanthropic programs, Hug A Bear, Assault Survivor Kits and Sharon Manor. We will also have multiple raffles and silent auctions.

 Grand Canyon State Winter Games. This two-day event Giant Slalom for both skier and snowboarder. It will be a 2-run format with combined times.

Annual Bowl of Kids’ Sake. Bowl for Kids’ Sake brings teams together for a day of bowling, prize giveaways and a raffle with items donated by local businesses to benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Flagstaff. If you are interested in having a team or sponsoring, contact BBBSF.

Flagstaff’s 100 Best Community Youth Celebration. Flagstaff has recently been honored with the 100 Best Communities for Young People National Award. The Coconino Coalition for Children and Youth and the Flagstaff Unified School District are co-sponsoring a community-wide celebration for children, youth and families. Free breakfast will kick off a day of youth-centered activities in various city locations.

American Cancer Society Denim & Diamonds Gala. The American Cancer Society’s Denim and Diamonds Gala will be held in the exciting High Country Conference Center on February 26. The lifesaving festivities will begin at 6 pm with a pre-event reception that includes silent auction followed by an elegant dinner and a spectacular performance by The Tempe Big Bang.
