Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC) is Northern Arizona’s only regional referral center, caring for more than 85,000 patients each year. Since 1936, FMC, a non-profit subsidiary of Northern Arizona Healthcare, has provided high-quality healthcare services to the residents and visitors of Northern Arizona. FMC received the Arizona Nurses Association 2009 Employer Excellence Award – only one healthcare facility in the state is honored with this award once every two years for outstanding support of nursing and creating a professional environment of nursing practice, education and excellence. With more than 200 physicians and approximately 2,000 employees, FMC provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art healthcare from diagnostic outpatient services to open heart surgery.

North Country HealthCare provides accessible, affordable, comprehensive, quality primary healthcare in an atmosphere of respect, dignity and cultural sensitivity. The health and well-being of patients and community alike are promoted through direct services, training/education, outreach and advocacy. North Country offers healthcare to all people, regardless of ability to pay. For those without health insurance, a sliding scale is used to provide discounts of up to 90 percent for those who qualify.
