Chamber Academy
A luncheon roundtable series focused on sharing business knowledge – Chamber member to Chamber member. Topics include: advertising, web design, business accounting, human resources and investing. A great way to enjoy lunch, and enrich your business while learning from peer Chamber members.
POWER
POWER (Partnership on Workforce Education and Readiness) – a series of programs to promote workforce development in Flagstaff, including the following:

Skills for Success – A program that partners local Chamber businesses with middle- and high-school classrooms to discuss workplace ethics and job opportunities in Flagstaff. Session include lectures, mock interview, resume writing trips, and discussion of emerging careers.

Arizona Academic Scholars – Encourages middle and early high-school students to pursue a more rigorous high school curriculum, with an emphasis on math and science.

Building Bridges to Business (B3)
Business Expansion & Retention
This survey program provides data and analysis to community leaders to aid in the retention and expansion of existing local businesses. It also helps guide the Chamber in providing businesses with programs, services and business counseling.
SBDC CLASSES
The Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with Coconino Community College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to present a series of business seminars. The SBDC is part of a nationwide program sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration to make technical assistance services available to the small businesses that drive our nation’s economy. Courses for small businesses range from Quickbooks for payroll, to business plan writing, to marketing and customer service. Please log on here for a schedule of upcoming classes.
