Assistant Kitchen Manager

This is a full-time assistant kitchen management position. The primary function of this position is the overall efficient operation of the Grand Depot Café and Spenser’s kitchens and all banquet functions. This position must divide their time between insuring the guest experience is first and foremost, cook line operations, developing recipes, active line cooking, labor management, product storage HACCP and FIFO guidelines are followed. Restaurant Manager

This position oversees FOH operation of Grand Depot Café, Spenser’s Pub, Java Crossing & Java on the Platform. This is a split between floor supervision and administrative work. Primary function is floor supervision that requires coordination between staffing and business levels assisting where necessary to accommodate guest service. Desired candidate will possess; thorough knowledge of food and beverage service, (3) years previous experience in food service management, working knowledge of Word & Excel software programs, leadership and communicative skills to effectively motivate staff.This position requires a valid/clear Arizona Driver’s License.

Perform prescribed, routine maintenance procedures on commercial and residential heating, cooling and refrigeration systems as required in contract agreements as well as troubleshootingand repair of these systems.
Duties may include but are not limited to: performing preventative maintenance, Compressor change outs, leak detection, filter changes and coil washing.
Acquire knowledge through on the job training, which includes new product developments, service bulletins and issues.
Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies and procedures including OSHA and any local authorities governing requirements.
Complete necessary documents (work tickets and timesheets) and electronic communication in a thorough, accurate and timely manner.
Maintain and manage truck inventory in an accurate, neat and orderly manner as well as adhere to vehicle maintenance program guidelines.
Develop and maintain excellent customer relations.
