Community & Economic Development Committee – This committee meets on economic policy and government issues and is often asked to weigh in on proposals being considered by the city, county and state to determine their impact to the business community. Recommends courses of action to the full Board of Directors. 2011 Chairman: William P. Ring (William P. Ring Land Use Law and Development).
Chamber Ambassadors – these hardworking members are the heart of many of the Chamber’s outreach efforts, such as mixers, ribbon-cuttings and special events. They welcome new members into the Chamber and keep in touch with current members to make sure their needs are being met. 2011 Chairman: Steven Scott (RE/MAX Peak Properties).
Education & Workforce Development Committee – A group of dedicated businesses that guide the Chamber’s education efforts, such as the “Skills for Success” program. 2011 Chairman: Dietrich Sauer (Deckers)
Workplace Safety Committee – Puts on safety seminars and oversees the Chamber’s workers compensation insurance association program through SCF Arizona.
